What is hepatic cancer?

Also known as liver cancer. The most common type is hepatocellular carcinoma. Causes include chronic viral infections, like Hepatitis B and C, excessive alcohol consumption, or fatty liver disease that have caused chronic inflammation and/or cirrhosis.

Symptoms of hepatic cancer

  • History of liver cirrhosis

  • Intensely yellow urine

  • Problems with liver function on the latest blood test

  • Fatigue

  • Recent weight loss

  • Swelling of the arms or hands

  • Skin or eyes turning yellow

  • Stomach feels bloated
