I have small nonspecific lesions on my brain, found 2 years ago with no diagnosis. I also have chest pain during deep breathing, and experience numbness and tingling in my hands and sometimes face that comes and goes, as well as burning in my feet that comes and goes. I get pain in my knees and elbows that lasts several hours and prevents me from sleeping. Additionally, I have significant fatigue for days a few times a month, migraines, and insomnia. Given these symptoms, should I consider seeing a specialist or another doctor?
I understand you're dealing with a complex set of symptoms, including chest pain when coughing or breathing deeply, brain lesions, numbness and tingling, joint pain, fatigue, migraines, and insomnia. It's understandable that you're considering seeing a specialist or another doctor.
Given your symptoms, some possible conditions to consider include:
In my experience, with such a diverse set of symptoms, it's often beneficial to see a neurologist or a rheumatologist. These specialists can provide comprehensive evaluations and may order additional tests to help determine the underlying cause of your symptoms.
I recommend keeping a detailed symptom diary to share with your doctors. Note when symptoms occur, their severity, and any potential triggers.
Remember, diagnosing complex conditions often takes time and may require multiple specialists. Don't give up on finding answers. Your health is important, and you deserve to have your concerns addressed thoroughly.
If your chest pain worsens or you experience new, severe symptoms, please seek immediate medical attention. Take care, and I hope you find the answers and relief you need soon.
We would love to help them too.
