I was diagnosed with PVCs. Wore a ZioPatch for seven days, and felt my PVCs were better. But since removing it, they have been really bad. I am also feeling lightheaded. What might be causing my current symptoms?
I appreciate you sharing your experience with PVCs (Premature Ventricular Contractions) and your recent monitoring. As a family physician, I often see patients dealing with heart rhythm concerns, and I understand how unsettling they can be.
PVCs are common and often benign, but they can certainly be bothersome. It's interesting that you felt improvement during monitoring but are now experiencing increased symptoms. This pattern isn't unusual - symptoms can fluctuate over time.
The lightheadedness you're experiencing alongside the PVCs is worth noting. While it could be related to the PVCs, it's important to have this evaluated, especially if it's a new symptom.
I recommend contacting your primary care doctor or cardiologist soon to discuss these changes. They might want to review your ZioPatch results, perform additional tests, or adjust your management plan. They can also assess your lightheadedness and ensure it's not indicating a more serious issue.
In the meantime, try to stay hydrated and avoid triggers like caffeine or alcohol if you've noticed they worsen your symptoms. Remember, while waiting for your appointment, if you experience severe symptoms like sustained rapid heartbeat, chest pain, or fainting, seek immediate medical attention.
Your health and peace of mind are important. Don't hesitate to reach out to your healthcare provider for reassurance and guidance. Take care!
We would love to help them too.
