Most definitely. There are few back conditions that do NOT benefit back pain.
Most studies have shown an improvement in back pain intensity from 10-50%. Not only does exercise help relieve back pain, but it also reduces the risk of future back injuries, improves flexibility/strength, and improves mood. Unless you are recovering from back surgery, have spine instability or have been specifically instructed by your health care provider to avoid exercise, exercise is HIGHLY recommended for back pain.
