Explanation

When you see tiny white bumps on your lips, they are most typically harmless and not related to HPV. HPV, or human papillomavirus, can cause growths in the mouth that look more like warts or have a cauliflower shape, rather than tiny white bumps. The white bumps you observe may come from normal features on the lips, such as Fordyce spots, or they may be the result of irritation or minor injury. The medical literature on HPV often discusses its role in oral cancers, but these cancers and related lesions usually look different and may include changes in color, texture, or growth over time.
