Pain in the lower right abdomen when bending over may be due to a muscle strain, back issues, or other issues.
When you bend over and feel pain in your lower right abdomen, it can sometimes be caused by the muscles or other tissues being stretched or compressed in that area. Additionally, bending over can also put strain on your back, and sometimes pain from a problem in the spine can radiate into the abdomen. Certain positions or activities could also aggravate pain related to a hernia (where intestines or other abdominal contents protrude through a weak part of the abdominal wall). Pain that is more constant or unrelated to moving could be due to a number of causes including (but not limited to) things like kidney stones, ovarian cysts, and appendicitis. Keep track of pain triggers and any other associated symptoms. If pain continues or worsens, it is a good idea to consult a healthcare provider.
