Even with irregular periods, signs of pregnancy can include feelings of nausea, tiredness, and breast changes along with a missed period, although the timing may be harder to predict.
If your periods are not regular, you might not notice the usual missed period sign of pregnancy as clearly. However, many other signs remain the same. For example, you could feel more tired than usual, have morning sickness (nausea or vomiting), and notice your breasts feeling tender or swollen. Some women also experience more frequent urination and mood changes. Even though spotting before your period might happen with irregular cycles, some women may notice a little extra or unusual spotting if they are pregnant. Because irregular cycles can mask some of these signs, using a pregnancy test or visiting a healthcare provider may be the best way to understand what is happening. Keeping track of any changes in your body can also be helpful so you have information to share with your provider.
