What is head injury?

A head injury is any trauma, or damage, to your brain, skull or scalp, which may be open or closed. These can range from a mild bruise to a severe traumatic brain injury. Common head injuries include scalp wounds, concussions and skull fractures.

Treatment for head injury

The treatment and prognosis of head injuries depends on the type and severity of the head injury.
