Whole body tingling combined with dizziness can happen due to problems with blood flow, nerve function, or balance, sometimes related to conditions like diabetes, high or low blood pressure, or inner ear issues.
When you experience tingling all over and dizziness at the same time, there may be several reasons. One possibility is that changes in your blood pressure or blood flow are affecting your body. For example, high blood pressure medications may overcorrect your blood pressure and sometimes lead to dizzy spells. And when you are dehydrated, your body gets less blood flow, your nerves might send extra tingling signals. Another cause may be issues with the nerves due to conditions like diabetes, in which high blood sugar over time can affect nerve function throughout your body. Also, problems with your inner ear, known as vestibular dysfunction, can cause dizziness and sometimes make you feel unusual sensations. Sometimes, these symptoms can occur together as part of brief episodes of neurologic problems. If you notice these symptoms often or if they are severe, it is important to speak with a healthcare professional. They can review your symptoms, check your blood pressure, blood sugar, and other tests to make sure there isn’t an underlying issue that needs treatment.
