What is chyluria?

Chyluria is a rare condition in which lymphatic fluid leaks into the kidneys and turns the urine milky white. It is caused bylymph flow obstruction which could be due to filariasis (parasitic disease that affects the lymph nodes and lymph vessels.), trauma, surgery, tumors, etc.

Treatment for chyluria

Treatment includes medication to decrease chyle production, a low-fat diet, or IV (intra-venous), procedrures to fix the lymph vessel and treating the underlying cause.
