What is Trichomoniasis?

Infection of the vagina by a parasite called Trichomonas. The disease is sexually transmitted but often does not cause any symptoms in men.

Typical Symptoms of Trichomoniasis

  • Increased vaginal discharge that is smelly

  • Pain when passing urine

  • Foamy vaginal discharge

  • Bloody or red urine

  • Skin Itching

  • Increase in vaginal discharge

  • Bleeding during or after sexual intercourse

  • Itching around the genital area
