This condition typically does not require treatment. In benign cases, lesions will be monitored and watched for signs of malignancy. Topical or systemic drugs such as immune response modifiers or retinoids may be prescribed to help reduce the symptoms. In some cases, procedural interventions, such as cryotherapy and laser therapy, may be necessary.
