A skin condition that appears as raised brown bumps that may expand into scaly patches. It is not contagious, but it can be passed down through genetics.

This condition usually doesn't need treatment. In benign cases, lesions will be monitored for signs of malignancy. Topical or systemic drugs like immune response modifiers or retinoids may be prescribed to help reduce symptoms. In some cases, procedures like cryotherapy and laser therapy may be necessary.
