What is threatened abortion?

This is a condition that presents with vaginal bleeding that occurs in the first 20 weeks of pregnancy. There is a risk of developing into a miscarriage. There are many known and unknown causes of this.

Symptoms of threatened abortion

  • Currently pregnant

  • Bleeding in between menstrual cycles / periods or after menopause
