About the Symptom
Dystonia is a problem with movement where muscles involuntarily contract. The muscle contractions cause slow repeating movements, twisting, or abnormal postures. Some types of dystonia affect the limbs, including the hand and forearm. Dystonia happens due to problems with the nervous system.
