  • Are your joints stiff and difficult to move?

  • Do you have any difficulty walking?

  • Does your hip joint hurt when you sleep?

Surgery is required to treat the break in the majority of fractures. In younger patients, this can be done with fixing the bone so it can heal. In older patients, replacing the hip joint with a partial or total replacement may be necessary.
