  • Family history of sudden death under 50 years old

  • Heart beating rapidly before fainting

  • My pulse feels irregular

  • Feel the heart is pounding

Questions your doctor may ask to check for long QT syndrome

  • Have you temporarily lost consciousness?

  • Do you have a family history of early sudden death (under 50)?

  • Did you have heart palpitations before you fainted?

  • Is your pulse irregular?
