About the Symptom

An abnormal growth or lump on the penis. In general penile tumors are rare. Sometimes they can be seen on the skin or felt just below the skin. They can feel soft or hard and are generally painless.

  • Genital Herpes

    This is a sexually transmitted disease caused by the Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV). It causes small, painful blisters on the private parts.

  • Condyloma Acuminatum

    Often referred to as genital warts, this sexually transmitted infection is caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV), and presents as small skin coloured bumps in the groin or perianal area. HPV is very common in women and men who have ever had sex - four out of five people will have HPV at some point in their lives, and most won't even know it.

  • Syphilis (Including Syphilitic Alopecia)

    A sexually transmitted infection caused by the spirochetal bacteria T. pallidum. The disease has many stages, from lumps and ulcers in the groin to involvement of the heart, brain, and nerves.
