What is pineal tumor?

Pineal gland tumors are rare and begin in the in the pineal gland located in the brain. They can be benign (noncancerous) or nmalignant (cancerous) and may be slow growing or aggressive. The exact cause is unkown and can affect anyone but they are more common in children and young adults.
