This condition results from blood loss or low blood pressure during childbirth. This can cause lack of oxygen and damage to a part of the brain that produces hormones. This can cause low levels of these hormones in the body.
Have given birth at least once before
History of excessive bleeding during delivery

Weakness in arms or legs

Abnormal menstrual cycles e.g. too early or too late
